With over 35 years of tradition, Steinhaeger Becosa is a leader in sales in the national market. A steinhaeger created by Germans in Brazil, following the original recipe from alcoholic distillation with juniper.
A precursor to gin, Steinhaeger is a juniper-based distilled beverage, known internationally as Geneva, originating in the German region of Steinhagen, Westphalia. A drink traditionally consumed interspersed with beer, in addition to being used for a submarine drink (with beer) or caipirinhas with a German touch (caipireger).

Born in the low countries of Europe, the recipe for traditional geneva was brought by Germans to Brazil. Here they created Steinhaeger Becosa, a juniper-based distillate, the precursor drink to gin. Following this recipe and tradition, we distilled the juniper, added european botanicals and gave a little brazilian touch to bring Becosa Gin to life!
